Series 620 | Phylon 1422

Generic Type Methylmethacrylate Acrylic
Common Usage Phylon 1422 is a non-yellowing, acrylic coating that highlights the natural color of masonry by providing a clear, semi-gloss sheen. The treatment does not alter the natural texture of the surface, nor significantly affect the vapor transmission qualities of the substrate. Phylon 1422 provides a durable, wet-look finish to exposed aggregate, ground-face block, sandblasted concrete and many other vertical concrete, masonry and natural stone surfaces. Repels water when used on dense substrates. Phylon 1422 can also provide sacrificial graffiti protection for virtually all vertical concrete and masonry surfaces. The protective film aids in preventing penetration of graffiti markings and spray paints allowing for faster and easier graffiti removal than from untreated surfaces.
Colors Clear. Dries to a clear, glossy finish. Treated surfaces will appear darker once product has cured.
